Entrance requirements:
You can find the entrance requirements for Introduction to Indigenour perspectives on special Education on the study's webpage, but the main rule for all our studies is usually that you meet the general entrance requirement to higher education in Norway. If you do not meet these requirements, you might be able to apply based on real competense.

What is real competence?
Real competence refers to the competence a person has acquired through work experience, courses or other non-formal and informal learning processes. This means that even if you have not achieved general study competence through traditional schooling, you can still apply for admission to certain studies at the Sami University of Applied Sciences by documenting relevant practical competence. It is important to note that the requirements for prior learning may vary depending on which study program you wish to apply for.
Requirements for practical competence:
The applicant must be 25 years of age or older at the start of the study or turn 25 in the year the study starts.
The applicant must have a minimum of five years' work experience.
Submit your documentation
Make sure to submit diplomas, transcripts, certificates and other relevant documents for the study you have applied for as soon as your application has been registered.
