Oahppu ii deatte (education does not weigh down) podcast - new episode every week
Sami University of applied sciences has published a podcast called "oahppu ii deatte". The host of the entire series is Ellen Oddveig Hætta Gaup and she has had studio visits from various teachers. The podcast conversations are linked to the subject of pedagogy and are well suited to teachers, parents and others who work with children and young people.
On Tuesday 19.09 the fifth part of the series will be published. Visiting the studio this time are Mai Britt Utsi and Samuel Valkeapää. They talk together about the creatiive subjects, e.g. do we need to teach duodji and joik to children? What role can aesthetic subjects have in children's schooling and lives?
