Indigenous Digital Storytelling with New Media

Indigenous Digital Storytelling with New Media is a collaborative project between Sámi University of Applied Studies - Sámi Allaskuvla, University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, and Umeå University.
This project will offer tailored educational programs in digital storytelling, with a special focus on cinema for Indigenous communities.
At University of Lapland in Rovaniemi Master's Program in Arctic Indigenous Cinema (AIC) will start January 2026.
At Sámi University of Applied Studies - Sámi Allaskuvla we are excited to be a part of this project contributing to the emergence of future Sámi film voices.
