Presentation options

The conference will be arranged around keynote and parallel sessions, and you can choose one of the following ways to present your teaching and research:

  • Kindergarten and School Coffee Table Conversation (round-table discussion) – send in two to five sentences with a presentation of the teaching object in kindergarten and later grades. During the conference, present the object (five minutes). In the Coffee Table Conversation, four objects will be presented before the joint discussion. A host will lead the discussions. The Conference Organising Committee warmly welcomes discussions about good teaching experiences and teaching challenges.

  • Workshop/Workshop Session – send a text that explains the purpose of the session and any special considerations for its structure. During the conference, you will lead a workshop or a workshop session. It is possible to propose a self-organised workshop (45–90 minutes) where a group presents their research or teaching activities or to propose a workshop with individual presentations (20 minutes). The Conference Organising Committee warmly welcomes sessions that will engage participants in practical, creative or performative works and discussions. The sessions can include the use of digital tools, teaching aids, and ascetic or traditional tools and materials.

  • Muitalus and lávostallanbottoš (Storytelling session in the lávvu) – send in 2–5 sentences that explain the purpose of the session and any special considerations for its structure. During the conference, you will lead a 30-minute session that includes time for conversation. The Conference Organising Committee warmly welcomes traditional storytelling sessions and conversations around them.

  • Poster or film presentation – send in a presentation where the topic/aim, the framework, the design and the conclusions/findings are presented. During the presentation, you will show a poster or film and give a 10-minute presentation, including questions and discussions. The Conference Organising Committee warmly welcomes relevant posters and film presentations related to the conference theme.

  • Scientific paper – send in an abstract for a 20-minute presentation with five minutes for questions and discussion. The abstract for the presentation should include the research topic/aim, the theoretical framework, the methodological design and the (expected) conclusions/findings (200 words). The selected papers will be presented in parallel sessions. Four papers will be presented in each parallel session. The Conference Organising Committee warmly welcomes presentations of research and development projects. The papers can present research results, in-progress research or research ideas.
