(Updated 12th of November 2020) Where do you come from? Sámi allaskuvla does not recommend travels that is not absolutely necessary, as the infection situation in society is increasing. Norwegian Institute of Public Health has a map on the website that shows which areas in Europe are marked as red or yellow. Red means that you must be in quarantine for 10 days after you arrived Norway, and before you arrive at Diehtosiida. Yellow means that you do not have to be in quarantine if you are healthy.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health prepares a weekly report about which countries and regions satisfy/do not satisfy the criteria for exemption from the quarantine duty when entering Norway. Weekly report and map here.

If you have a business trip that is necessary to complete, and which means that you have to cross national borders,  HR departement can give you a confirmation of employment conditions. Order confirmation at personal@samiskhs.no NOTE! Employees are responsible for following current regulations related to quarantine after crossing the national border. It is recommended to check before each trip.

 

What you shall do if you have to cross national borders often? Employees who come from countries or regions marked red must be  in quarantine after arrival in Norway, and before entering the workplace. A negative covid-19 test must be presented that is not older than 72 hours at the border crossing, and a covid test must be taken every three days. 

• This rule does not apply to employees who come from Sweden and Finland and who regularly cross national borders. From 14.11.20 cross-border workers who arrive from Norrbotten in Sweden cannot use the exemption from entry quarantine.
• Anyone crossing borders must be tested in Norway every three days during the quarantine period.
• In the workplace, avoid close contact with others even if you can deviate from the quarantine rule in the workplace. Employees cannot participate in / complete physical education.
• You must have an approved place of residence when you arrive Norway (separate room or similar where you can avoid contact with others). The employer offers a place to stay during the quarantine period.
