If you have experience in conveying traditional knowledge, expertise and experience in Sámi-language or Indigenous education, you are warmly invited to share your experiences, ideas and knowledge in this guided panel discussion. Please submit 2–5 sentences describing what you would like to discuss. The conference committee welcomes a wide range of discussion topics.

Short Presentations from Everyday Life in Early Childhood Centres and Schools

Early childhood and primary school teachers, early childhood educators, or principals – you who wish to share your good practices with others. For this session, we invite presentations that highlight everyday activities. These may include group-, class-, or institutional routines related to daily life, or activities aimed at strengthening Sámi and Indigenous traditional knowledge, learning of the Sámi language or Indigenous languages, or the teaching of other subjects in Sámi or Indigenous languages.
Please submit a short 2–5 sentence description of the activity you wish to present and share with others. In this session, 15-minute presentations will be held, followed by sharing experiences based on the presentations.

Creative Sámi and Indigenous Early Childhood and Primary School Teachers

Early childhood and primary school teachers often create a wide range of materials together with children and pupils for teaching. For this session, we invite examples of such collaboratively produced materials, how they were created, and the pedagogical and subject-related ideas behind them. We also welcome experiences related to such processes.
The presentations in this session are intended to serve as inspiration for other teachers and teacher education students. Please submit a 2–5 sentence description of what kind of material you plan to present, the format it takes, and how you wish to present it. This session will include 15-minute presentations.

Traditional and Aesthetic Sessions

We invite you to offer traditional and aesthetic workshops for others. Please submit 2–5 sentences describing the workshop theme and presentation format. At the conference, the workshop duration will be 30 minutes.
